ReelPilot ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our website, web application, and connected device services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, clinic name, and payment information when you create an account or subscribe to our service. We also collect information automatically when you use ReelPilot, including device identifiers, IP addresses, log data, and usage metrics. Video content captured by connected ReelPilot devices is processed on our servers to generate clips and captions.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve ReelPilot, process transactions, send service communications, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. Video content is used solely to generate clips and captions for your account. We do not use your video content to train AI models without explicit consent.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who assist in operating our platform (such as cloud infrastructure and payment processors) under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of ReelPilot and its users.
Video Content & Social Publishing
When you connect social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook), we store OAuth tokens to publish content on your behalf. We only publish content you explicitly approve. Video clips are retained on our servers for 90 days after creation unless you delete them earlier.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Video session recordings are retained for 14 days; generated clips are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@reelpilot.io.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. We conduct regular security audits. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@reelpilot.io. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
